الظرف في اللغة الإندونيسية
★ 21
In English, one rule of making adverb from adjective is to add –ly. For example:
- quick --> quickly
- careful --> carefully
- patient --> patiently
Although not all words end in –ly are adverbs, we still can use this rule for most.
In Indonesian, instead of adding –ly, you can use dengan in front of an adjective. For example:
- cepat (quick) --> dengan cepat (quickly)
- hati-hati (careful) --> dengan hati-hati (carefully)
- sabar (patient) --> dengan sabar (patiently)
