Exercises

What are Exercises
There are four types of Exercises:
Translation
On this page, you can select an existing story created by another user and translate it into a language of your choice. You can also choose the original language of the story.
Read
This exercise helps you practice pronunciation. Read a story created by a user in the language you are currently learning.
Listen
In this exercise, listen to an audio clip in the language you are learning and write its transcription in the provided box.
Story
Use your vocabulary and grammar knowledge to create a coherent story in the language you are currently learning.
After completing an exercise, you can wait for other users to correct your mistakes. If there's something you don’t understand about their corrections, you can discuss it with them in the comment section.
You can also help other users by reviewing and correcting their exercises through the Help Others page.

How to Select Exercises
Read and Listen
To select an exercise, simply click on the one you want to use.
At the bottom, you’ll find pagination if there are more exercises available than can fit on one page.
If there are no available exercises for a specific language and exercise type, you'll see a blank page like this:
Translation
Unlike the Read and Listen exercises, where the only option is to select an exercise, in the Translation exercise, you can choose both the source and target languages for translation.
When you select From: Cebuano, all the Cebuano exercises will be available in the list.
