It's interesting! I find that it takes some words from Spanish, English, and even Japanese (that I can recognize) so far it seems similar to the Spanish way of sentence structures but without its complex variations of conjunctions. On the other hand, for now I find that there are a lot of similar words, verbs and such so it can be a bit tough to remember, but I'm having a good time!
You are quite right. They are a little different with my language grammatically. But especially the words starting with the letter "M" are too much Indonesian. That caught my attention too :)
