There are 2 types of filter in forum. One filter to choose what language the forum is written in, and one filter to choose what language the topic discuss about.

By default, list of topics' title in forum will be displayed in the original language written by the creator. But some of the topics have been translated into other language. So if you want to see if there is any topic written in a specific language, choose language in “Show topics in languages:” option . If in this filter you choose Spanish, then the list of title will be translated to Spanish if the translation available, and when you click the title and go to the content, the whole content will also displayed in Spanish if available. But if the translation in Spanish is not yet available, the content will be displayed in the original language.

The second filter is to see topics about a specific language. When you are learning Spanish, you may want to improve your knowledge about Spanish. To see any topic discussing about a specific language, you can choose the language in “Topics about” option . When you choose “Spanish” from this filter, any topic related to Spanish will be shown if available.
