How to construct a sentence in Turkish?

Hello, Turkish is an agglutinative language. Unlike English, the predicate is at the end of the sentence. The sentence structure is Subject-Object-Predicate. If we need to make a simple sentence, we say "I love" " Ben severim" when there is only a subject and a predicate.

Our subjects:

Ben (I)

Sen (you)

O (he/she)

Biz (we)

Siz (your)

Onlar (they)

But sometimes we want to express the object as well. For example: I love but who? We may want to know this, or we may want to say it. In this case we say "I like flowers". "Ben çiçekleri severim" We can also replace the flowers with any other object.

Can you tell me how to form the present tense of the verb TO BE in Turkish?

In Turkish, you have to add -yor to a verb in the present tense. For example, to be= olmak, and the present tense is "oluyor". If I were to give another example, if love = sevmek in its current form, it is sev-i-yor. Or read=okumak, the current version is oku-yor. The letters u or i that come before the suffix - yor are sometimes due to a suffix beginning with a consonant that comes to a word ending with a consonant (-yor). These voices cannot be connected directly to each other. I think you will understand better in time if we work a little bit. Please feel free to ask :)

Türkçede şimdiki zamanda bir fiile -yor eki getirmelisin. Örneğin to be= olmak, şimdiki zaman hali ise ol-u-yor.

Bengisu, are there two different words for 'Thank you' in Turkish?

If you want to say "thanks" you can say "teşekkürler or sağol" in Turkish. If you want to say "thank you" then, you should say "teşekkür ederim" in Turkish. Generally, people use (thanks) teşekkürler or (thank you) teşekkür ederim. I think that it has the same meaning.
