Is Valentine's Day celebrated in your country? If yes, how did you celebrate this year?

Yes, it is also celebrated in Serbia. This year I worked for "Valentine's Day", but when I came home in the evening, my husband was waiting for me with dinner on the table :)))

I'm sure you've been very happy, in my opinion, a gift (dinner) prepared with such effort is more meaningful than many gifts. It's much nicer, especially when you don't really understand the surprise. We live in a very small town. My husband had booked here for a newly opened restaurant. I didn't even realize when I was going. He rushed me out of the house because we were going to the market. My attire was not suitable at all. :))

Yes, it is celebrated. Congratulations too, but for me birthday or wedding anniversary is more important.

Yes, the anniversary is somehow more important, more intimate to me.

Absolutely I agree. Because the dates you mentioned are only meaningful for couples who met on that date, so it is special for those couples, but Valentine's Day is the day of all lovers. So it's a little more general. Frankly, I don't care about Valentine's day as much as a birthday or wedding anniversary.

It is celebrated, even though we have a similar holiday on the 24th of February in Romania.

Really? It's very interesting. I've never heard of it before. What is the name of the holiday you celebrate on February 24? And what are you doing on that holiday?

It's called "Dragobete" and it's pretty much the same thing as Valentine's Day.
