What are Tasks?

Tasks are the Langoid’s features where you can practice your writing, translating, listening and pronunciation skills.
There are 5 Tasks you can try on Langoid, they are Story, Translate From, Translate To, Read, and Listen Tasks.
In Story, you can practice constructing sentences by writing a short story in the language you are currently learning. Write at least 50 words text of any topic you like. Just make sure that it is a decent topic or you may get flagged by other user for being rude.
In Translate From, you can try to translate the Story written in the language you are currently learning to your native language. So let’s say you are learning Serbian and your native language is English, then in Translate From you will be translating Serbian text into English.
Translate To is the opposite of Translate From. Here you can try to translate the Story written in you native language into your learning language, so from English to Serbian.
In Read Task, you can try polishing your pronunciation. You can record yourself reading Story written in your learning language, listen to your recording, and if you are satisfied with your pronunciation you can upload it here.
Listen Task is where you can improve your listening skill. Listening is one of the hardest things to master when learning a new language. In Listen Task, you can listen to audio in the learning language and write down what it says. It is like making a transcript.
In each task, you can also make corrections of other users’ tasks, up vote or down vote, give comment, and also mark the task or the correction as perfect.
