Language Script
Language Script is another feature in Langoid designed to help you practice the language you are learning. It provides a structured way to improve your translation skills, but instead of working with full texts, you practice with smaller, more manageable chunks.
This method allows you to focus on specific phrases, expressions, or sentence structures, making it easier to reinforce your understanding and gradually build fluency. Whether you're a beginner looking to get comfortable with basic sentences or an advanced learner refining your accuracy, Language Script offers an effective way to practice translation in a controlled and focused manner.

Most Language Scripts are organized by specific themes or grammar concepts. For example, one script may focus on adjectives, allowing you to practice how they are used in sentences. Another script may cover common phrases, while others might focus on masculine nouns, verb conjugations, or sentence structures. This structured approach helps you practice translations within a targeted context, making it easier to recognize patterns in the language.
Each script is available in the language you are learning and in the languages it has been translated into. Scripts are listed in two tabs, Basic and Advanced, with the number of sentences and a length label (Short, Medium...). To start, click the title of a script.
Additionally, you can create your own scripts based on your learning needs or contribute by translating existing scripts into other languages.
Once you open a script, you will see its languages, number of sentences and estimated time, and two options:
- Learn – View sentences in the language you are learning along with their translations.
- Practice – Translate the sentences yourself without seeing the translations.
This feature provides a simple yet effective way to reinforce vocabulary, grammar, and sentence structure through direct translation practice.

Learn Mode
In Learn Mode, you will see sentences in the language of your choice along with their translations in the language you are currently learning. This allows you to familiarize yourself with sentence structures, vocabulary, and grammar in context before attempting translations on your own.

Learn mode has two views: Read shows each sentence with its translation, and Try lets you type the translation of each sentence and check it right away, showing the differences from the correct answer.
Practice Mode
After reviewing the translations in Learn Mode, you can move on to Practice Mode. Here, the translations will no longer be visible and will be replaced by a blank box where you can write the correct translation yourself. If you prefer, you can also start Practice Mode directly without going through Learn Mode first. To complete the exercise, you must provide a translation for each sentence before submitting your answers for evaluation.

Review and Correction
After submitting your answers, you will receive a summary of your results, including the number of correct and incorrect translations. If you made any mistakes, the system will highlight them so you can review and learn from them. Just like in the Words and Sentences tests, you will need to correct these mistakes before you can fully access the Language Script feature again. This ensures that you properly reinforce your learning and improve your translation skills.

If you have used the Language Script before, you will see a summary of your past attempts. This allows you to track your progress over time and compare how long it takes you to complete the exercises after each attempt.
The Language Script feature is especially useful if you want to practice more but prefer to focus on a specific topic. You can choose whether to work on simple sentences or challenge yourself with more complex ones. Additionally, the system provides instant feedback, so you can immediately see which parts you answered incorrectly without waiting for someone to review and correct your work.
With Language Script, you have a structured yet flexible way to strengthen your translation skills at your own pace. Keep practicing, and you’ll see your language abilities improve over time!
