Hello Osman and welcome aboard! Which languages do you speak and which have you learned/are you learning?

I think practicing regularly and always trying to add new things on top of what you know (but not too much at once where you feel demotivated!) is the best way to learn. Also, it is possible that you want to focus on one skill (say reading, or speaking for example) so you should find activities that will help you get there. I feel that once you have more confidence in one of your skill, it boosts your motivation and confidence to learn the others!

Hello Vincent. Thanks for the tips. I can speak Bangla, English, Chinese, and a little bit of Hindi. Bangla is my first language and I have learned and I'm learning others. Even though I am fluent in these languages, there is a lot left to learn.

I think I only know 3 words in Bangla! Keno (why?), acha (yes?) and dhonnobhad (thank you)... also I think you use Khoda Hafez? I know it in Persian but I think it is also used in Bangla.

Maybe you can teach us some more hehe

Hi Osman, Nice to meet you! My target language is Japanese, and English for now, I do want to learn another language but haven't got the interest to do so. My trick that works when learning those two language was to watch movies in perspective languages (I love movies), and build up my interest in hopes that it would make me keep learning frequently. Interest, that is it!

Merhaba Osman, Hoş geldin. Benim de anadilim Türkçe. İngilizce ve Fransızca dillerinde de seviyemi artırmaya çalışıyorum. Ben de mesleğim gereği çok fazla makale okuyorum ve yazıyorum. Bu sayede dilim yazılı anlamda oldukça gelişiyor. Ancak çok fazla konuşma pratiği yapmadığım için konuşma seviyem o kadar gelişmiyor. Bu durumu değiştirmek için buradaki dinleme, seslendirme vb. pratiklerine katılmaya çalışıyorum. Kelime havuzu oluşturarak her gün belirli sayıda kelimeyi öğrenmeye çalışıyorum. Bunun dışında öğrendiğim dili hayatımın merkezine koymayı deniyorum. Yabancı arkadaşlar edinerek onlarla konuşma pratikleri yapmaya çabalıyorum.
